History

The plans of the school were first taken to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba during Sankranthi in 2005. Initially the school was run by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organization, Karimnagar District and eventually by Bhagawan Baba's grace the school has come under the purview of Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Telangana & Andhra Pradesh headed by Sri A Ranga Rao, the Chairman of the Governing Council, a well known educationist is assisted by a team of professionals who are alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institutes.

The Prophecy

Bhagawan Baba has proclaimed: “Bejjanki School, will one day become one of the best schools among all Sathya Sai Schools". Since then the school has been gathering from strength to strength in classes, staff and educational infrastructure. The school is funded by Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Bhagawan's devotees and philanthropists. Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidya Nikethan, Bejjanki, Siddipet has been established with the very same cultural traditions and with the same inspiration of preserving the Bharathiya Culture. The school has been established with the infinite blessings and divine guidance of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba- the universal teacher and mentor for Sri Sathya Sai Education system.

Sathya Sai Ideals

The mission of the school is to bring back the forgotten glory, heritage of Indian culture and spirituality into the current educational system. The school is an innovative fusion of the cultural heritage of the ancient Gurukula system with modern methods of teaching and learning. The Structure and Management of the School is wholly based on the principles of EduCare as enunciated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba - the life and soul of the Institution.

Affiliation

The Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidya Niketan is affiliated to the Board of Secondary Education of State Govt. Telangana and it follows the text books & Syllabus prescribed by the Govt. of Telangana. The school is fully residential with English as medium of instruction for Boys.

The School is located in a serene, quiet & performance oriented environment on the vicinity of Bejjanki village which is also Mandal headquarter of Siddipet Dist with area of 17.5 acres of land.

School Faculty

Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Niketan, Bejjanki, with a rural set up has 18 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) as per the requirements of the Government of Telangana. The teachers in this school have either completed a diploma or acertificate course in Sri Sathya Sai Education, Mumbai. Besides the above, there is a Physical Training Instructor,a librarian. A Grand Master in Karate, a Drawing, Dance and Music Teacher who offer their services to mould andtrain the students of our school on the weekly basis.

Hostel Facilities

The Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidya Niketan is totally a boys residential school. The hostel is housed separately in a double storey building with well ventilated dormitories with bunker beds for the children. Each dorm is assigned to an individual caretaker, Solar heaters for hot water is available.The students are served purified and nutritiousfood in the well furnished, hygienic kitchen and a modernized dining hall.

Play Ground

The school campus has a very huge play ground with 1 Basket Ball Court, 1 Hand Ball Court, 2 Kho-Kho Courts, 1 Kabaddi Court, 2 Shuttle Courts, 2 Volley Ball Court etc. Trust has a plan to provide cricket ground with new pitch.

Vegetable and Fruit Garden

We have plenty of different vegetable and fruit plants behind the Hostel building. The students and staff are enjoying nutritious vegetables like Bottle gourd, Beans, etc.. and delicious fruits like watermelon, Mangoes etc..
