Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidyanikethan is inspired and initiated by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Himself. Swami is its life and soul, motivation and goal. Under Baba’s direct guidance and Divine Blessings, the school embarked on its mission of moulding young minds on the 09/07/2007

The school at every step, big or small, is guided by the comprehensive educational philosophy of Bhagawan Baba who emphatically advocates “Education should be for life; not only for mere living”.

The Sai educational institutions have been established not merely to enable students to earn a living but to make them acquire good traits, lead ideal lives, and give them ethical, moral and spiritual strength. Swami said “ I have established them with a view to inculcate love and teach good qualities to students. Students will learn here humility, discipline and faith.”
This is a Gurukulam – a place where teachers and Students will grow together in love and wisdom – and like the ancient system of education, it will develop in its students a broad outlook and promote virtues and morals, which serve to foster noble ideals in society. Vision
Sri Sathya Gurukula Vidyanikethan, Bejjanki, Telangana, India, has been a visible manifestation of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s vision of education for human transformation. Bhagawan Baba says – “The End of Education Is Character”. This School is in the process of doling out citizens for this great country, who would firmly believe in the saying – Education is for Life and Not for a Mere Living – through scientific learning with state of art teaching technology. The school emerged on the Divine Sankalpa of Bhagawan and Swami has blessed the School with HIS GOLDEN WORDS- “ Bejjanki School is going to be the best Schools among Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions “. The vision of the SSSGVN, Bejjanki is to be an exemplary school in the basic Human Values of Education. This revered and blessed institution encourages students to think independently to be passionate about what they wish to do to value excellence. We assist generations of students to acquire Self-knowledge (Atma Vidya) and Self-confidence (Atma Vishwas), so as to cultivate Self-sacrifice and earn self-realization, thereby moulding them into leaders who will benefit society.
Mission
The mission of the school is to bring back the forgotten glory, heritage of Indian culture and spirituality into the current educational system. The school is an innovative fusion of the cultural heritage of the ancient Gurukula system with modern methods of teaching and learning.
The Sri Sathya Sai system of Values-based Integral Education, mirrors to a large extent, the tried and tested ancient Indian gurukula system of education, of which the hostel forms a critical component. This residential component of student life is compulsory for every student admitted to SSSGVN.
History
In year 1996, Shri G.Rangachari garu, then District President for Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Karimnagar along with Shri A Sunder Raju garu, Dr Sathyanarayana garu and other devotees from Samithi members have been to Prashanthi Nilayam for taking holy darshan of Swami as part of Parthi Yatra. Swami has blessed them profoundly by giving Interview. In Interview Swami asked the Samithi members to put Spiritual queries/questions. While some of the Devotees asked and received answers from Bhagawan, Swami asked Shri Rangachari garu to ask more. Then Shri Rangachari garu asked Swami for Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institute for which Swami replied to get land, Swami will get School Constructed. Thus, the Divine Sankalpa of School at Bejjanki was first drawn by Swami.
Later the land was procured and the plans of the school were first taken to Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba during Sankranthi in 2005. Swami blessed with Golden words that “Bejjanki will become one of the best schools among all Sri Satya Sai schools”- Proclaimed by our Bhagwan Baba. Since then, this divine campus is marching forward by stepping every stone of success. The school is funded by Sri Sathya Sai Trust, Bhagwan devotees and philanthropists.
Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidyanikethan, Bejjanki Siddipet, depicts the importance of Bhartiya culture, inculcate the value-based education with divine guidance and blessings of our Universal master Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The School is governed with Managing Committee, who are well-known educationist ,professionals and Alumni of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning.

Vidya Vahini
Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini Is initiated in our School in the year 2014 . It was launched on the occasion of our Bhagawan’s 85th birthday. We, the teachers and the students are ever grateful to our swami for aiming a program such with all integrated values in an innovative way.
They provide lesson plan to the teachers which are the very backbone of teaching. The academic excellence of our school is boomed up with the implementation of vidya Vahini . As it is completely activity based, every student participates enthusiastically. The content is provided to empower the confidence level of a teacher in his/her teaching.
Affiliation
The Sri Sathya Sai Gurukula Vidya Niketan is affiliated with the Board of Secondary Education of State Govt. Telangana and it follows the textbooks & Syllabus prescribed by the Govt. of Telangana. The school is fully residential with English as a medium of instruction for Boys.
